Soulja Boy on Kristine Leahy’s FAIR GAME on FS1

By Cameron Buford

Are you available for your friends and family? I mean seriously available; do they know that? Are you so busy with building that brand, getting that next degree, adding stamps to your passport, or just enjoying your life that you miss the call of someone reaching out for your ear or time? Can you identify when someone is reaching for something more than to blow off some stem?

We all have so many things and people pulling us different directions for your most important commodity, your time. Whether it’s work, family or your exciting hobbies… will you make the time to answer the call; This is a regret that Soulja Boy discusses with Kristine Leahy on FAIR GAME that airs on FS1 Tuesday, Jan 8, 2019.

In the clip below Rapper Soulja Boy explains to host Kristine Leahy why he tweeted “I’m going to die soon. I enjoyed my life” and on the late Rapper Mac Miller reaching out to him a week before his death. Soulja Boy regrets not getting back to Mac Miller deeply. This is not inferring that if Soulja Boy returned the call/ DM of Mac Miller; Miller would still be alive. Though, might that have Miller, cry for help?

Depression and Suicide are serious topics as Soulja Boy eluded to in the clip. Staying in touch with those that mean the most to is critical, as you may never truly understand what that person has on their mind! Out down your phones for a moment a find out what’s going on with those in your household and then call those with whom you haven’t spoken to in some time. Let’s not be so busy we focused we have tunnel vision and prance right on by someone calling for our time and encouragement! As always please share your thoughts on this interview with Soulja Boy or Kristine Leahy by commenting in the comment section of this article on or reaching out to us on twitter @whatsgoodinsports.
