Recipe of the Week: Simple Fried Rice

Simple Fried Rice

Cooked or refrigerated rice (cook according to directions)
1 lightly scrambled egg 
1/ 2 bag of frozen vegetables 
3-4 tsp. soy sauce
Green onions (garnish)

1) Heat a large skillet or wok with 2-3 tablespoons of oil (preferably sesame oil) 

2)  Add rice to your hot skillet along with the vegetables let sit for a minute and then form rice for egg to cook in the middle. It is very important to allow the egg to cook before mixing it in with the rice.

3) Now mix everything together along with the soy sauce, if needed add in a drop or two of oil to prevent from sticking.

4) Now that everything had been incorporated remove from heat and top with green onion and toasted sesame seeds (optional).

5) Serve hot and enjoy!
