Walter Camp Awards Bruins Thompson-Robinson

UCLA QB Dorian Thompson has landed the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in leading the Bruins (1-3,1-0) to an incredible 32 points second half comeback in a win over Washington state 67-63. It was the highest scoring game in PAC12 history.
The Las Vegas Native completed 25 of 38 passes for 507 yards, 322 in the second half set a school record with 564 yards of total offense.
“We put in so much time and effort into this.” said Thompson Robinson. “To see it all pay-off is finally is definitely special”
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK honors went to Charles Snowden.The Junior outside linebacker is from Silver Springs, MD (St. Albans School). Snowden recorded a career-best 15 tackles (6 solo), including 3.5 for losses, and two quarterback sacks as 21st-ranked Virginia defeated Old Dominion, 28-17. With the victory, the Cavaliers improved to 4-0. Snowden is the fifth Virginia player to earn Walter Camp National Player of the Week honors since 2004, and the first since strong safety Juan Thornhill (Oct. 14, 2018).
