The Los Angeles Rams started out like gangbusters against San Francisco. Rolling down the field with no passes on the drive. Malcolm Brown and Robert Woods were the only two Rams to rush on a 7 play 56 yards drive. Woods took it to the endzone on an end around.

Directly after the score Woods ran over to the stands and handed the ball to his mother, who had a big smile as she headed back to her seat. That was the lone score in the 20-7 loss in front of 75,695 at the Coliseum.

That was one of the few highlights of the day as the Rams offense came up with only 157 yard of offense as Rams QB Jared Goff completed 13 of 24 passes for a career low 78 yards for the Rams (3-3).

To pour salt on the wound the Rams never converted a third down and Goff was sacked four times.

On the Defensive side the Rams stymied the Niner’s (5-0) ground game holding them to 99 yards, they had been averaging 230 before this game. Jimmy Garoppolo connected on 24 of 33 for 233 yards and an INT by the Rams Marcus Peters. Cory Littleton led the Rams with 14 tackles (9 solo), and Troy Redder had 11. Aaron Donald had 7 including two sacks.

NEXT up for the Rams @ Atlanta and then home to Cincy.
