Amanda Summer Hill has been taking time out for decorating a float. She is one of the more than 900 volunteers that help make the Tournament of Roses go. The Alverno High Grad has been doing this since the age of four and she really doses not mind a challenge. “I really love doing this since I started so young,” said the Freshman  who now attends Cal. “I like getting high on the scaffolding,”

JB Bell is a volunteers and this year she worked with the Media. She’s a Business Consultant by trade and works and lives in the San Francisco. However, she spends two weeks during the year assisting the committee in preparing the media for the big game. Credentials have to be given out, rooms have to be arranged along with many other duties to make game coverage flow smoothly. “I love what I do here” said Bell a twenty- year volunteer.  “It’s the environment and people that I like being around”
