Brianna Perez went uptown with a 3-run shot.  Aalyah Jorden hit a monster blast that nearly left the campus.

UCLA won the series opener 6-1. Rachael Garcia (8-0) retired the Huskies one two three five times in the game.

The Bruins handed Gabbie Plains (23-1) her first loss of the season. After falling in first game of Double header 7-4. The Bruins bounced back in the nightcap with a 6-1 win. 

“I think our team does an amazing job of passing the bat said Brady. “Coach just told me be short to the ball get in the box and do your job. I just wanted to help Holly (Acavedo) (6-0) out; she pitched a great game.”   

 Acavedo pitched 7 innings struck out 6 scattered 7 hits for her 

4th complete game of the year. The Bruins finished the weekend (28-3,10-2) while the No.4 Huskies 35-9,13-4.

The Bruins will play at Utah this weekend.
