Calling all artists! The Leimert Park Jazz Festival announced the 2nd Annual Art Competition. The call for submittion is open to South LA artists 18 and up. The Artwork should be visually expressive of the vibrancy of jazz, music and culture, and the Leimert Park community.
To submit your art fill out the submission form found on the following link http://tinyurl.com/LPJFArt2021. Deadline for submitting art is Friday, July 16, 2021, at 11:59 PST. 
The winning artist will receive a $1,000 cash prize, recognition as the official Leimert Park Jazz Festival Visual Artist, VIP festival pass, and other selected perks.
Jazz aficionados, Save the Date! The Leimert Park Jazz Festival is back for an in person show at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, Saturday, August 28, 2021. If you can’t attend the show, the festival will be available to enjoy Live Stream.
The Leimert Park Jazz Festival is a celebration of Jazz, Community, and the Cultural Heritage of the historic Leimert Park neighborhood in South Los Angeles. The festival brings together a culturally diverse, family-friendly audience to enjoy outstanding jazz from local & world-renowned artists.
