The Dodgers began the post All-Star break by taking two straight from the Rockies.

They routed the Rockies with a 10-4 as Will Smith had 2 hits and 4 RBI’s in jump starting the second half of the season. Cody Bellinger had two RBI’s and scored a run.

Chris Taylor knocked in two with his 11 homer.

Jose Urias (12-3) went 5.2 innings giving up seven hits striking out two.

In game two Max Muncy went to “Rip City” with two homers (21) knocking in five runs and scored twice.

Mookie Betts homered (13) while going four for four and scored three runs in a 9-2

Walker Buehler (10-1) got the win he went seven striking out eight walking just four.

In the series finale Veteran David Price went four innings for his longest outing in two years.

The bad news was Charlie Blackmon hit a solo walk-off homer against Phil Bickford in the bottom of the 10th.

NOTES: It was discovered ace Clayton Kershaw had no ligament damage to his arm and will return to the team in a few weeks. Corey Seager played in a simulated-games and

had seven at-bats. A special Happy Birthday to Rachael Robinson.
