Los Angeles, California, January 14, 2022 – On Saturday, January 22 the California Department of Public Health will provide COVID-19 boosters and vaccinations at the Crenshaw Farmers Market at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.
Following the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday now is the perfect time to take action to protect our communities by getting a COVID-19 booster or vaccination. In addition to COVID-19 boosters and vaccines, the Crenshaw Farmers Market will feature music from 102.3 Radio Free KJLH, a dozen local farmers, and over two dozen food and artisan vendors.
The Crenshaw Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.., rain or shine, and is located on the Promenade of the Rave Cinemas at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, 3650 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90008.
Individuals who are up to date on their vaccines, including a booster, are most protected against COVID-19 and its variants. To help slow the spread of COVID-19, Californians are encouraged to get vaccinated, get boosted, wear a mask indoors and get tested if sick.
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective and are recommended for everyone 5 years and older to help protect against COVID-19. Vaccinations are always free. Appointments are not needed at all Public Health vaccination sites and many community sites where first, second and third doses are available.
