Before she officially retired, she said I have one more thing I must do before I officially retire and that is to thank the owners of Randy’s Donut and Chinese Food for their long term dedication and service to Inglewood. She went on to say, she thought they were one of the more than 200 plaques she had presented during her 36 year tenure as Treasurer. The Treasurer said she has patronized Randy’s for many years and enjoyed the food they offer to their customers.
The City Treasurer honored Randy’s Donut and Chinese Food with a plaque of Recognition on October 21, 2024. Cynthia Ear Taing and her son Charlie Taing are the owners of Randy’s Donut and Chinese Food settled in Inglewood in 1979, 43 years ago. They are one of the oldest and most successful businesses in the city. They serve a wide variety of Chinese food as well as a large selection of delicious donuts that many enjoy throughout the day. Family members who help in the food preparation are Anny Troung, Chan Mak Thvy, and Keng Poy Khao.
