The Rams trailed 13-3 at the half fought back and took a 20-13 lead on Kamren Kinchens’ 103-yard interception return early in the fourth quarter. With the interception return Ktnchens set a franchise record for the longest return. A few years back the Arizona Cardinal DB Bubba Baker was caught from behind by the Seahawks DK Metcalf. This week Metcalf was out with an injury. “They didn’t have DK” said Kinchens. “I didn’t have to worry about him running me down.”

The LA RAMS put together an extreme second half and came away came away with a 26-20 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks in front of 68,632 fans at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks tied it when Smith connected with Smith-Njigba for a 14-yard touchdown with 51 seconds left. After getting the ball first in OT they drove to the Rams 16 on the opening possession of overtime and went for it on fourth-and-1 instead of trying a field goal. Omar Speights and Bobby Brown III stuffed Kenneth Walker III for no gain, setting up Stafford and the Rams’ offense to head for the winning score
“If we don’t get the ball right there, we don’t get a chance,” Stafford said. “The defense did a hell of a job getting us the ball back.”
The Rams only needed a field goal but, Stafford went for the win by throwing to Demarcus Robinson, who grabbed the ball in the end zone with his one free hand and secured it as he fell to the turf. Robinson spiked the ball as his teammates rushed him “dog pile” style. It was his second TD catch of the day.
Stafford completed 25 of 44 passes for 298 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for the Rams (4-4), who have won three straight after losing four of their previous five. Robinson finished with six catches for 94 yards and both scores. Cooper Kupp had 11 catches for 104 yards

Kinchens had two of the Rams’ three interceptions of Smith, He also picked him off at the 7- yard-line on another drive. in the fourth quarter, the defense came up with clutch plays all-day.
“I was proud of the way we came out in the second half,” said RAMS Coach Sean McVay.
QB Geno Smith threw for 363 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions for the Seahawks (4-5), who have lost four straight at home and five of six overall to fall into last place in the bunched-up NFC West. Jaxon Smith-Nigba had seven catches for a career-best 180 yards and two scores.
Rams receiver n Puka Nacua was ejected in the second quarter for throwing a punch at Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson following an interception by Woolen. After woolen intercepted Stafford and ran to the opposite side of the field. Dodson and Nacau briefly engaged holding each other by the shirt. When they separated Nacua thew a right hook at Dodson and was ejected.
While in the visitors locker room the second -year man watched the game on TV. After the game, Nacua called it a learning experience.
“On of the best traits he has is his emotions, that why we like him ,” said McVay.
“Obviously, that’s not something he wants to do, he doesn’t want to not be out there and play with us,” Stafford said. “Sometimes emotion gets the best of us but I’ve got total trust and confidence in his ability to respond and understand those are things we can’t do.”
The defense had a collective seven sacks Rookie Brandan Fiske had two. ,Byron Young, Jared Verse, lineman Kobe Turner and safety Quentin Lake each had one.
“What an up and down game, right?” Stafford said. “Our defense getting turnovers. We got down there and didn’t score from the 1, we had a punt blocked. It was all over the place. It took a lot of mental fortitude and strength and belief to win that.”
