The Eagle Rock Girls soccer team made it BACK-TO-BACK D2 CIF LA City Championships. After an intense  0-0 draw in regulation, Eagle Rock came out on top in penalty kicks, 3-! It was Abigail Velez, Cynthia Maneja, and Quinn Powell who nailed the “Onion Bag” on penalty kicks to help earn the second straight D2 title. The Lady Eagles (15-2-3 showed remarkable defensive skills,

Rien DeVore-Baraj led the way and rejected every shot that came her way.  The match was a fierce battle lasting 80 minutes, followed by an additional 15 minutes of intense overtime. Throughout the entire game, Rien remained steadfast, demonstrating her resilience and determination. In the crucial shootout, she showcased her exceptional talent by saving 3 out of 4 penalty kicks. For her outstanding contributions, Rien was also named Player of the Game and Player of the Month.
