Los Angeles, CA- The historic Los Angeles Coliseum has hosted an amazing roster of momentous events in the past. It comes as no surprise that the America250 Block Party was held at the venue. The day celebrated America’s 250th Anniversary and the signing of the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain. This action paved the way for the United States of America we know today.
On July 4, 2026, America250 brought Americans together for a once-in-a-generation celebration—and a national call to give back. The Los Angeles event anchored America’s Block Party, a sea-to-shining celebration connecting major cities, local communities, and viewers across the country.
Thousands were in attendance for the America250 Block Party on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for live performances, which included a headlining set by Chris Stapleton and a drone and fireworks show.
Complimentary tickets were distributed to First Responders, Veterans, and Service members. 5,000 tickets were donated to veterans and active-duty service members in honor of their service. Active-duty military, veterans, and first responders were able to claim their tickets through Vet Tix, a free program dedicated to connecting those who serve with live events. This is an organization that you might want to share with your contacts for future reference.
Ticket holders arrived early to partake in The Block Party Village. This segment of the program was an immersive, pre-show fan destination featuring nearly 20 activations with free food and beverage offerings, photo moments, interactive & engaging games for the entire family, lots of giveaways, live entertainment, and memorable experiences for families. A sea of red, white, and blue was adorned by attendees at the event.
The Block Party Village offered attendees an opportunity to connect with non-profit organizations and community partners, participate in service opportunities, and support causes they care about as part of the nationwide Giving 4th Movement.
Giving 4th Movement to establish July 4 as a National Season of Charitable Giving. Giving back to our neighbors and communities has been part of America since its founding. But charitable giving has long been concentrated in the last weeks of December, leaving non-profits under-resourced for most of the year.
