The LA Clippers and FanDuel Sports Network announced today that ClipperVision, the team’s award-winning direct-to-consumer streaming platform, will merge into the FanDuel Sports Network app. Starting with the 2025–26 NBA season, the FanDuel Sports Network app will stream Clippers games, pre- and postgame coverage, and exclusive features designed to enhance the viewing experience.
Building on Ballmer’s Vision
This move marks the latest chapter in a technology journey led by Clippers Chairman Steve Ballmer, who has long pushed for innovation in how fans watch sports. That vision began in 2018 with the launch of Clippers CourtVision, a first-of-its-kind augmented reality broadcast created with Second Spectrum. CourtVision introduced fans to real-time shot probabilities, play diagrams, and mascot-mode animations—features that laid the foundation for the Clippers’ direct-to-consumer platform and influenced the NBA’s broader streaming strategies.
“From day one, I’ve believed technology could transform how we watch sports,” Ballmer said. “CourtVision and ClipperVision were about putting the fan first—giving them control, flexibility, and a better experience. FanDuel Sports Network shares that passion. This next step brings our innovation to a wider audience, on a platform fans already know and love.”
What Fans Can Expect
FanDuel Sports Network will deliver full coverage throughout the Clippers’ local market, which spans Southern California, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. Subscription options will include monthly, annual, and seasonal packages, with special offers for Clippers fans to be announced before the season tips off.
The app will stream every regular-season Clippers game not shown exclusively on national TV. In addition to live games, fans will have access to pregame and postgame shows, new episodes of “Clippers Weekly,” and other local and national programming.
Enhanced features include live statistical overlays, a catch-up tool for fans who miss key moments, and condensed game replays available on demand.
“This merger of ClipperVision into the FanDuel Sports Network app accelerates our mission to deliver premium sports content and meet fans where they are,” said Sarah Tourville, Executive Vice President of Team Partnerships for FanDuel Sports Network SoCal/West. “We’re proud to bring the Clippers’ streaming experience formally into our platform and to continue partnering with the Clippers to bring fans closer to their favorite team than ever before.”
NBA Support and Accessibility
Gillian Zucker, CEO of Halo Sports & Entertainment, credited the NBA with supporting team-driven innovation. “We’re deeply grateful to the NBA for pushing teams to experiment, evolve, and lead,” she said. “Their support and infrastructure helped make ClipperVision possible—and we are grateful for ClipperVision to carry on with FanDuel Sports Network.”
FanDuel Sports Network SoCal will also remain widely available on cable, satellite, and virtual streaming providers. Fans who access the network through a pay-TV subscription can stream at no additional cost by authenticating through the app.
The FanDuel Sports Network app is available across most iOS and Android devices, Windows PCs and tablets, and connected TV platforms.
