It’s the giving season and First AME Church of Los Angeles (FAME) will once again distribute clothing, toys, coats, and food to the community. 

It’s the giving season and First AME Church of Los Angeles (FAME) will once again distribute clothing, toys, coats, and food to the community. 

The event will be the first for newly appointed Rev. Robert R. Shaw II and Rev. Ann Champion Shaw as pastors of First AME Church of Los Angeles.

“It is an honor and a blessing to be able to give this holiday season. So many families are in need and we are here to serve them. We welcome the entire community to join us for fun, family, and fellowship,” Rev. Robert R. Shaw II. 

The event is being held on Saturday, December 16th at the historic church located at 2270 S. Harvard Blvd. in Los Angeles from 9 a.m. until noon.

There will be a special appearance by Santa Claus and LA Councilwoman Heather Hutt. 

FAME has hosted the event annually for more than 30 years. Last year, more than 700 items were distributed to families. No registration is required and everyone is welcome. For more information visit
