Kelsey Plum is once again among the WNBA’s elite. The Southern California native was named a 2025 WNBA All-Star this week, marking her fourth selection to the league’s annual showcase.

Plum, a seven-year veteran and one of the most dynamic guards in the game, continues to build on an already stellar résumé. She currently ranks fourth in the league in scoring with 20.1 points per game, while also sitting seventh in both assists (5.6 per game) and free-throw percentage (90.6%).

Historic Company

Plum is on track to make history once again. She is one of just five players in WNBA history to average at least 20 points and five assists in a season. If she finishes the year with those numbers, she’ll join Diana Taurasi as the only players ever to achieve the feat more than once.

A two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time WNBA champion, Plum brings not just stats but a winning pedigree.

New Home, Same Impact

This season marked a new chapter for Plum, who was acquired by the Los Angeles Sparks in a three-team trade with the Las Vegas Aces and Seattle Storm on February 1. The deal brought one of the league’s brightest stars back to her Southern California roots.

Her presence has already made a significant impact on the Sparks, providing scoring, leadership, and playoff hopes for a franchise hungry to return to form.
