Kern County Democratic Committee hosts “Crus’in with Kamala” Event
About 50 decorated cars, with flags, banners, balloons, posters, and blowing horns, gathered at Riverside Park, to buy even more tee shirts, buttons, flags and held a short rally, which included a dj and local politicians.
It was a wonderful, warm, fun and fantastic day, and an exciting mission accomplished- VP Kamala Harris for President and CoachTim Walz for VP.
The Kern County Democratic Committee, President Christian Ramos, Democratic Women of Kern, and the Young Democrats of Kern hosted a successful “Crus’in with Kamala” Event, held Sunday, September 8, 2024.
About 50 decorated cars, with flags, banners, balloons, posters, and blowing horns, gathered at Riverside Park, to buy even more tee shirts, buttons, flags and held a short rally, which included a dj and local politicians.
Local politician spoke briefly, including Rudy Salas for Congress. Flora for School board and Ms. Kaur,to name a few.
You had to be there to experience the exciting impactful drive through the city with was positive, joyful and engaging with the community, indicative of VP Kamala Harris and Coach Walz’z campaign vibe.
The bright light of joy, and excitement, persisted, with PIZAZZ, which caused passer by vehicles and walker, to great all with responding horns, smiles, thumbs up signs and mutual horn blowing, showing a positive, and especially cited response.
There was so much laughter in and out of the cars, blowing horns, dancinng, and receiving mutual horn blowing with support passing by. The surprised smiling faces and warm responses told it all!
