Newcomer Arnold earns award

Colby Arnold was named to the all-Rookie team in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). The freshman pitcher had seven appearances going 4-0 with a era of 4.2 in helping lead the Elm College Blazers to a 24-15 (13-6 conf.) record. Arnold is a sports management major with a minor in coaching.
The 6-foot 185 pounder is a graduate of Waterford high in Connecticut. Waterford has one of the most storied baseball programs in New England having 10 state titles and were once led by former USA Today National Coach of the Year Jerry Rousseau.
