The Los Angeles Rams knocked off the Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium on Sunday in the first of their two regular-season meetings, earning a hard-fought 21–19 victory in front of a record-setting crowd.
A total of 75,323 fans packed the stadium — the largest regular-season attendance in SoFi Stadium history. The building first opened to fans in 2021, making the milestone especially significant for the franchise and its rising momentum.
The win improved the Rams to 8–2, vaulting them into first place in the NFC West and extending their winning streak to five games.
Defense Delivers the Knockout
Los Angeles’ defense took center stage, forcing four interceptions from Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold — his first four-interception performance since 2019.
Defensive back Kam Kinchens led the turnover surge with two picks, each of which set up Rams touchdown drives. Cobie Durant and Darious Williams added one interception apiece as the Rams held Seattle (7–3) to just five scoring drives, four of them field goals.
The pressure up front was relentless.
“Jared Verse tied his single-game career high with six hurries in Week 11 vs. the Seahawks,” the Rams PR staff reported. “He also recorded seven pressures, tied for the second-most in a single game for his career, according to TruMedia.”

Offense Does Enough to Finish
While the Rams’ offense didn’t have its typical explosiveness, it capitalized when needed.
Davante Adams hauled in his 10th touchdown catch of the season, which also marked his 1,000th career reception — a one-yard strike from Matthew Stafford. Kyren Williams added 91 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Stafford finished 15-of-26 for 130 yards, raising his league-leading season total to 27 touchdown passes.
Seattle’s Streak Snapped
Darnold threw for 279 yards, and despite the turnovers, the Seahawks remained within striking distance until the final minutes. The loss ended Seattle’s remarkable 10-game road winning streak, their first defeat outside of Seattle since September 2024.
“We were still in this, despite the turnovers and all of the things that happened,” Darnold said. “I just wish I could have played better for our defense and everyone on the team.”
Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald echoed the frustration:
“We’re about 3 yards short from putting ourselves in a great position to go win, given everything that happened throughout the game.”
Up Next
The Rams return to SoFi Stadium next weekend for a high-profile Sunday Night Football matchup against the 6–4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A win would give Los Angeles its sixth straight victory and maintain at least a one-game lead over Seattle in the division.
