The Los Angeles Rams came out swinging in Glendale, unleashing a dominant offensive performance in a 45–17 win over the Arizona Cardinals before 61,970 fans at State Farm Stadium.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns, while Puka Nacua and Blake Corum scored twice each as the Rams (10–3) rattled off 35 unanswered points to rebound from last week’s lopsided loss to Carolina. The victory was the Rams’ seventh in their last eight games, keeping them tied with Seattle atop the NFC West and a game ahead of San Francisco.

Stafford in MVP Form

Fans showered Stafford with “M-V-P!” chants throughout the afternoon — praise he quickly redirected to his teammates.

“It’s fun — they’re great teammates,” Stafford said. “The only reason anyone’s saying something like that about me is because of those guys. I’m appreciative. I love going to work with them.”

Stafford, now in his 17th NFL season, completed 22 of 31 passes and fired several precision throws into tight windows.

“I thought Matthew was outstanding,” head coach Sean McVay said. “He saw the field well and threw with accuracy and anticipation.”

Rams Roll Up 530 Yards

Los Angeles piled up 306 yards in the first half and finished with 530 total.
Nacua hauled in touchdown grabs of 31 and 8 yards, while Corum added rushing scores of 48 and 2 yards on his way to 5.4 yards per carry.

Corum and Kyren Williams continue to form one of the NFL’s most effective backfield duos. Williams rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown, averaging 4.9 yards per attempt.

McVay has struck a balance between his backs:

  • Williams: 196 carries, 952 yards, 8 TDs
  • Corum: 101 carries, 550 yards, 4 TDs

Defense Makes Its Mark

Linebacker Nate Landman intercepted Jacoby Brissett late in the third quarter, and on the next play, Stafford found Nacua for a 31-yard touchdown that stretched the lead to 38–10. Corum followed with his 48-yard dash to push the advantage to 45–10.

The Rams remain the least-penalized team in the NFL, flagged just five times for 30 yards.

They finished with 31 first downs, nearly doubling Arizona’s 17.

Cardinals Open Strong, Fade Fast

Arizona (4–9) scored quickly on its opening drive, capped by Brissett’s 19-yard strike to Michael Wilson.
Wilson had a standout day, catching 11 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns.

Brissett — still starting in place of injured Kyler Murray — completed 25 of 44 for 271 yards with two TDs and a pick.

Tight end Trey McBride caught five passes for 58 yards, reaching 15 straight games with at least five receptions, tying Travis Kelce’s NFL record for tight ends.

A Historic Scoring Mix

For the first time since Dec. 30, 2001, the Rams finished a game with three passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns, according to ESPN.

Stafford’s scoring throws went to:

  • Puka Nacua (2)
  • Colby Parkinson (1)

Rushing touchdowns came from:

  • Blake Corum (2)
  • Kyren Williams (1)
