Los Angeles, CA – The Baldwin Hills Crenshaw team-up once again with Project Pit for a special community event.

The special occasion included a meet-and-greet with Santa, Photos with Santa, arts and crafts, and story time. The event was held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.

The magic in the air was palpable inside the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw- 3650 West Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. This was evidenced by the priceless smiles and playful sounds of kids’ laughter.

Hundreds of kids and their parents gathered to celebrate in this festive event. I couldn’t think of a better way to usher in the holiday season than a grand arrival with Santa at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw.

The program got underway at The Bridge with a bilingual story time by Santa’s Elves (Karen Jackson). The captivated crowd listened to readings of “How to Catch an Elf,” “Jingle Bells,” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

Santa led the jubilant group from The Bridge to the Courtyard of the mall for some festive, engaging arts and crafts. D.A., the DJ, enhanced the gatherings with a selection of seasonal tracks.

Santa checked his list, yes, he checked it twice, before he was able to schedule a special trip from the North Pole to the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw for photos with local families and to listen to the kids’ Christmas wishes.
