The Los Angeles Rams and Verizon honored Navy veteran Tina Terrones as the Verizon Military Hero of the Game during the first quarter of Sunday’s matchup at SoFi Stadium.
Terrones served eight years in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, providing vital medical care to Marines during two combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After completing her military service, Terrones continued her commitment to helping others. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. Her civilian career has included work with national nonprofits such as the Gary Sinise Foundation, and she now serves as a Transition Specialist with Hire Heroes USA—guiding fellow veterans as they navigate their own post-service journeys.
Terrones’ dedication to service, both in and out of uniform, embodies the values of courage, compassion, and leadership that the Verizon Military Hero of the Game program seeks to celebrate.
