1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2022, an estimated 287,850 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. Breast cancer is always caused by a genetic abnormality, 85-90% of breast cancers are due to genetic abnormality that happens as a result of the aging process and the “wear and tear” of life in general.
