(Carson, CA) Ah, the joy of Spring! This highly anticipated season is welcomed news for the public. Spring is a much-needed break from harsh winter weather. The days are longer, and the weather is a bit cooler. This is an ideal time to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful landscape that Mother Nature is starting to unveil.
The global jazz community is also thrilled. Locally, jazz heads, in particular, are excited that festival season has started to bloom.
The Dymally International Institute & Rainbow Promotions Present the 6th Annual Dymally International Jazz & Arts Festival, Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM-9:00 pm.
The festival features a stellar lineup of artists. Five-time Grammy winner, musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer PJ Morton, The Prince of Sophisticated Soul Will Downing. Rounding out the lineup are Maysa, Paul Jackson Jr., Jeff Lorber, Everett Harp (Jazz Funk Soul), Tito Puente Jr., Latin Jazz Ensemble, Nedra Wheeler and More!!!
Comedian Jay Lamont and Pat Prescott will host the festival. You don’t want to miss out on this highly anticipated festival to get you in the mood to groove!
The jazz festival will host two stages, the main stage and the second stage with a roster of talented, internationally known artists. Guests will enjoy a curated visual arts pavilion, a smorgasbord of food trucks as well as food vendors of the host venue. An array of specialty merchandise vendors will also be on site. The festival offers stadium seating.
The festival will be held at Dignity Health Sports Park-Tennis Stadium, 18400 Avalon Blvd., Carson. (formerly StubHub Center).
The beauty of the venue is that there is ample parking on campus. UBER/LFYT has a drop-off/ pick-up location near the venue. Metro, Long Beach and Torrance Transit has services to the Dignity Health Sports Park-Tennis Stadium. This is a win-win situation for everyone.
The funds raised benefit Dymally Fellows and Sisters United Mentoring Programs.
