The Los Angeles Rams has agreed to terms with wide receivers Davante Adams and Tutu Atwell, the team announced this week.

Adams agreed to a two-year, $46 million deal, with $26 million guaranteed on Sunday. The deal comes a week after he was released by the Jets, and  is now set to replace Cooper Kupp in the offense.

Adams has appeared in 164 regular-season games (157 starts) and recorded 957 receptions for 11,844 yards and 103 touchdowns in regular-season action with the Green Bay Packers (2014-21), Las Vegas Raiders (2022-24), and New York Jets (2024). Adams has also appeared in 11 postseason contests (10 starts) with the Packers and registered 72 receptions for 910 yards and eight touchdowns. Last season, he appeared in 14 games (all starts) with the Raiders and Jets and recorded 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.

The three-time Associated Press First-Team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler has recorded five consecutive 1,000 receiving-yard seasons, tied for the second-longest active streak in the NFL.

Atwell, the young wideout, signed a one–year 10 million dollar deal with the RAMS after posting a career-high 562 receiving yards in 2024.

Atwell always wanted to stay with the Rams, and he told his agent that it was his preference to remain with the team that drafted him in the second round of the 2021 draft.

“It has always been the first priority in my mind,” Atwell said in a news conference this week. “After the season, I always told my agent that I wanted to come back. This is like my second home, and we made it our top priority.

“I always had plans of coming back. Once I saw Matthew re-sign, I had called [agent] Drew [Rosenhaus], and I’m like, ‘Hey, now we [should be] pushing. That’s our first priority.’ We are going to see what they are talking about first. Everything worked out, and I’m happy to be back.”

“I trust Coach Sean [McVay],” Atwell said. “I have no doubt in my mind [that] he’s going to use me to my ability, and I’m just waiting for the future and waiting for this year. We had some good conversations. I believe in him.

Atwell also helps the Los Angeles Rams in community involvement and assistance, joining LA Health Care and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in hosting a food distribution event for families and community members struggling with food all year round.
