WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee, hosted a member retreat with Committee Democrats to outline their plan and priorities for the 119th Congress. Waters invited a series of guests to discuss and engage with Committee members on issues impacting working-class families and consumers, particularly in the context of the new political landscape shaped by attacks from President Trump and unelected billionaire co-President, Elon Musk. The Ranking Member also laid out her priorities for the 119th and a plan for how Democrats on the Committee can take on Trump.
