
Pau Gasol to enter Hall of Fame
The Class of 2023, along with the Hall’s prestigious annual award winners, will be celebrated at this Enshrinement event at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. This event will include the awarding of the Class of 2023 Rings, presented by Baron Championship Rings, and the presentation of the Class of 2023 Hall of Fame Jackets during the event.

Former Los Angeles Laker Pau Gasol will be enshrined into the basketball Hall Of Fame this weekend. In Springfield, Mass.
Gasol won two NBA championships, both with the Los Angeles Lakers back-to-back in 2009 and 2010. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2002 with the Memphis.
“In Barcelona 92, like other kids of my generation, I started dreaming about the NBA because of the Dream Team. I would like to be remembered as a player who played the right way, played hard, competed, played to win. A player who made the right decisions on the court and tried to make his teammates better,” said Gasol.

Gasol will be joined by Basketball Hall of Fame 2023 inductees Dwyane Wade, Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki, Jim Valvano, Becky Hammon, David Hixon, Gary Blair, Gene Bess, Gene Keady and the 1976 U.S. women’s national basketball team that includes former UCLA Bruin Ann Meyers. Lucy Harris. They both represented the United States, in the inaugural women’s national team that competed for gold in the Montreal Olympics.
